How it works

Three parts doing the work

The spout

Upright, water rises through the straw. Tipped back, the wider opening pours freely. Nothing to swap.

The lid and loop

A push button flips the cap open. Swing the loop over that button and the cap stays closed in a tote.

The body

Insulated stainless steel, meant for ice water and iced drinks carried through the day.

Questions buyers ask

Straight answers

Which size Owala water bottle should I get?

Most people do best with 24 oz (710 ml), which covers a workday with one refill. Go smaller for a lunch bag, or larger if refilling annoys you. The Go Halvsies print is another option in the big size.

How does the Owala FreeSip spout work?

One lid gives you both options. Keep the bottle level for straw sips, or lean it back and drink straight from the wider mouth when you want more at once.

Is the Owala bottle good for hot drinks?

Treat it as a cold bottle. The listing only covers cold water and iced drinks and lists no hot rating, so pour hot coffee into a mug built for heat.

How should I clean this bottle?

Wash it by hand with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. Dishwasher use is not confirmed for the body or lid, so hand washing is the safe habit.
