These are EVEBOT's PB1 edible ink cartridges for the EVEBOT PrintPen, the pen-shaped food printer that prints a strip up to 26 mm (1 in) wide on coffee foam, macarons, cookies, cakes and toast. Each cartridge holds 20 ml of water-based ink made with edible colorants and gives about 7,000 prints of 26 x 50 mm at 40 percent coverage. Choose Coffee Brown, Red, Black or Matcha Green.
- 20 ml of ink
- About 7,000 prints
- Water-based edible colorants
- 12 months sealed
For the EVEBOT PrintPen only
PB1 fits the PrintPen, not the EVEBOT Smart. EVEBOT makes a separate STB1 cartridge for its Smart handheld printer, so these are not refills for the EVEBOT Smart edible printer in our store. Check that your printer is the PrintPen before you order.
Which color for which job
Coffee Brown
The latte color. On milk foam it reads like cocoa dusted through a stencil, so names and logos look at home on a cappuccino.
Black
The sharpest contrast for text, dates and fine line art on light icing, macarons and cookie tops.
Red
Hearts, birthdays and holiday menus. Strong on white frosting, softer on foam.
Matcha Green
Made to sit with matcha lattes and green tea desserts, and for spring and seasonal designs.
How far one cartridge goes
Heavier artwork uses more ink. EVEBOT also rates the cartridge at about 3,500 prints of 26 x 100 mm, roughly 200 m of printed length.

The details
Straight answers
Will these cartridges fit the EVEBOT Smart printer?
No. The PB1 is EVEBOT's cartridge for the PrintPen. The Smart handheld printer takes EVEBOT's STB1 cartridge.
Does the ink change the taste of the coffee?
No. It is a water-based ink made with edible colorants and no alcohol, and it is odorless and neutral in taste, so the latte or the cookie tastes the way it did before you printed on it.
How long does an opened cartridge last?
Use it within 6 months of opening. Sealed cartridges keep for 12 months, which is why it pays to open one color at a time.
Can I refill a cartridge?
No. The PB1 is a single-use cartridge. Replace it with a new one when it runs out.
