Is the Brümate era tumbler really leakproof?
Yes, when the flip straw is closed. The lid has a silicone seal that locks the straw down, so you can toss it in a bag without leaks. Leave the straw flipped up and it will spill like any open cup.
Can I use it for hot drinks?
Not recommended. The insulation is built for cold drinks, and hot liquid through a plastic straw is not a good experience. If you need a tumbler for hot coffee, look at models designed for that.
Will the larger size work in a vehicle cupholder?
The 890 ml (30.1 oz) size fits most standard car cup holders. The 1200 ml (40.6 oz) is taller and wider, so measure your holder first if car use is the main purpose.
How do I clean the flip straw?
Pull the straw out of the lid once a week. Rinse the straw and seal in warm soapy water, then let them air dry. The tumbler body can be wiped down or rinsed.
