Rocket Appartamento, Mozzafiato or R58 CinquantottoOne E61 group head, three different machines. Choose by the features you will use.
Three Rocket Espresso Milano machines for home use are featured here: the Rocket Appartamento, available in white or brown, the Mozzafiato Cronometro V and the R58 Cinquantotto. An E61 group head sits at the core of every model. The Mozzafiato and R58 add PID temperature control, while only the R58 has a dual boiler. Home baristas who would like a Rocket on their counter can pick the machine according to the features they need.
- E61 group head on every model
- PID control on two models
- Dual boiler on the R58
- Appartamento in white or brown
One listing, three separate machines
Most listings sell one machine in a few colors. This one works differently. The selector above holds four choices that cover three separate Rocket Espresso Milano models, and they are not the same machine in a new coat of paint. Read the model name in each option before you add it to your cart.
The two Appartamento choices are one machine in two finishes, white or brown. The Mozzafiato Cronometro V adds PID temperature control. The R58 Cinquantotto keeps PID and adds a dual boiler, which gives brewing and steaming a boiler each.
What ties the three together is the E61 group head. The brew group you lock your portafilter into follows the same design on each model, so the way you dose and tamp carries over if you move up later.
Why the option name matters
Picking brown or white changes only the look of the Appartamento. Picking between Appartamento, Mozzafiato and R58 changes the machine itself.
Where each Rocket fits
Appartamento
Mozzafiato Cronometro V
R58 Cinquantotto
The Appartamento is the starting point; the R58 is the pick for heavy milk drink use.
Confirm the electrical rating before you order
Espresso machines are built for different markets, and the rating of the unit you pick is not confirmed on this page. Message us before checkout and ask which rating and plug your chosen model carries. A two minute question here saves a machine you cannot plug in.

What each model brings
The questions that decide the model
Is the Rocket Appartamento a dual boiler espresso machine?
No. In this listing the dual boiler model is the R58 Cinquantotto. The Rocket Appartamento shares the E61 group head with it but keeps a simpler build, and you choose it in white or brown.
Which Rocket models here have PID temperature control?
The Mozzafiato Cronometro V and the R58 Cinquantotto. PID is an electronic controller that holds the brew temperature you set, so you spend less time chasing it between shots.
Is the brown Appartamento a different machine from the white one?
No. Both options are the same Appartamento, and the choice changes the finish only. Ask us if you want the exact shade confirmed before you order.
Will this machine work in my kitchen outlet?
Ask us before you order. The electrical rating of the model you pick has to be confirmed by the store, and we would rather check it with you than guess on this page.
Is there another E61 dual boiler machine worth comparing?
Yes. The LELIT Bianca V3 pairs an E61 group with a dual boiler, so it sits close to the R58 Cinquantotto in what it offers.
