Two ways to drink from one spout
Press the button and the cover flips back. Upright, you sip through the built-in straw. Tilted, water flows from the wide opening. The cover closes back over the spout so it stays clean in a bag.
Fold the loop, lock the button
The carry loop folds down over the button so nothing in a backpack can press it. Flip it up and it is a handle. That is why it does not leak when it tips over.
Lid in the dishwasher, body by hand
Lid and straw go on the top rack. The steel body is hand wash only: warm water, dish soap, a bottle brush, then air dry with the lid off. Dishwasher heat dulls the color block.

Cold drinks only. Hot or carbonated liquid builds pressure behind the sealed lid. Use a mug or tumbler for coffee.
