The IKAPE espresso filter basket is a stainless steel replacement for the basket in your portafilter. Choose 58mm (2.28 in) with an 18 g (0.63 oz) or 24 g (0.85 oz) dose, or 54mm (2.13 in) with a 16 g (0.56 oz) dose. Fine 0.25 mm laser-cut holes and a tapered flow path guide water through the puck, for home baristas moving past a stock basket.

Check your handle width first
This basket seats only in a portafilter of matching width. Your machine manual lists the handle size, or a ruler laid over the rim of your current basket will tell you. A narrow basket in a wide handle leaves a gap that leaks.

What size espresso filter basket do I need?
One with the same diameter as your portafilter. A 58mm handle takes the 18 g or 24 g option, and a 54mm handle takes the 16 g option.
Does a precision basket make better espresso?
It can give a cleaner, more even shot when your grind and puck prep are consistent. No basket rescues stale beans or a clumpy grind.
What does the gram number on each option mean?
It is the dose of ground coffee the basket is built around. Dosing close to it gives water an even bed rather than empty headspace.
