Wendougee MECHA single group espresso machineA commercial one-group bar with a 3.0 L steam boiler behind it.
The MECHA is a single group commercial espresso machine: one saturated group with its own brew boiler, a separate 3.0 L (101 oz) steam boiler, SUS316L stainless steel boilers and a mechanical paddle to start and stop each shot. It is sized for a small café, a bakery or bookstore coffee counter, or an office bar with one person on espresso, and it comes in two versions, Mecha-SAT and Mecha-SAT-B.
- One saturated group
- 3.0 L steam boiler
- 316L stainless boilers
- Mechanical paddle
Who one group suits
A good fit when
- One barista works the bar, even at the busiest hour.
- Milk drinks lead the menu and you need steam that holds between pitchers.
- The counter cannot take a two-group footprint.
Look at another Wendougee when
- Two people pull shots at the rush. The SDRAGON-SAT adds a second group.
- The space cannot get a dedicated circuit, a water supply and a drain.
Where the heat lives
Saturated group
The group is built onto its brew boiler, so water stays at temperature all the way to the puck. The tenth shot of a rush matches the first.
3.0 L steam boiler
Kept apart from brewing, so milk and espresso never compete for heat. A four-hole tip textures café-size pitchers quickly.
SUS316L boilers
Wendougee builds the boiler system in 316L stainless steel, the grade picked for corrosion resistance in hot water service.
Each shot starts and stops on a mechanical paddle, the tactile control baristas trained on levers expect. The screens sit above it: a 5-inch main touchscreen and a 1.28-inch round display, and both versions in this listing are touchscreen versions.
Mecha-SAT or Mecha-SAT-B
Same body and boilers
The saturated group, 3.0 L steam boiler and paddle described here. Wendougee's comparison chart does not break this version out on its own, so ask us for its screen and pressure setup before ordering.
As the maker's chart lists it
Constant-pressure extraction, the 5-inch main screen with the 1.28-inch round display, and hot water at a fixed temperature.
The app-linked Link-SAT-BV and the dual-flow SAT-DBV are other MECHA models. Neither is sold in this listing.
Plan the install first
US dealers list the MECHA for a dedicated circuit, drain access and installation by a commercial technician. Settle power and water with your installer, and ask us for the maker's connection details, before the order is placed.
Confirmed details
Before you commit to one group
What is a single group espresso machine?
One brew head, so one portafilter brews at a time, single or double. For a small café that means one barista on espresso, with speed coming from workflow rather than from a second head.
What does SAT mean on the MECHA?
Wendougee puts SAT on its saturated-group commercial models, and the MECHA group is saturated. The maker does not publish an English key for the B suffix, which is why the two versions are described above only by what the listing confirms.
Does it connect to the E-Bar app?
Not these two versions. In Wendougee's MECHA comparison, app control belongs to the Link-SAT-BV model. The Mecha-SAT and Mecha-SAT-B run from their own screens and the paddle.
