Guaranteed Safe Checkout
Coffee bean scoop with a walnut handleAbout 12 g (0.42 oz) of whole beans in every level scoop.
Each leveled scoop carries about 12 g (0.42 oz) of whole beans, so this coffee bean scoop turns an espresso or pour-over dose into a count rather than a guess. Its handle is solid walnut and its bowl is anodized aluminum alloy, with a woven lanyard for hanging it near the grinder. Two handle lengths and three finishes are on offer, sold as the scoop by itself or with a small mango-shaped ceramic dish.

Three reasons it earns a hook
A dose you can repeat
Level off the beans and you have roughly the same amount each time. Count scoops instead of eyeballing a heap, and tomorrow's cup tastes like today's.
Walnut meets aluminum
Solid walnut feels warm in the hand. The anodized aluminum alloy bowl keeps the tool light and resists corrosion.
Never lost in a drawer
The attached woven lanyard hangs from a hook beside the grinder or your bean canister, right where your hand goes first.
Pick your handle length
Short handle
Long handle
Every finish comes on both lengths, with or without the dish.
Weigh your first scoop of each new bag
Bean size and roast change how much fits in a level scoop, which is why the dose is approximate. Put one scoop on a scale when you open a new bag. If it reads a little high or low, change the number of scoops, not your recipe.
The details
Before you order
How many grams does a coffee bean scoop hold?
This coffee bean scoop holds about 12 g (0.42 oz) of whole beans when leveled. That figure is for whole beans, so check it on a scale if you plan to scoop grounds.
Is this scoop dishwasher safe?
Hand washing is the better choice. Wood and long soaks do not mix, and the walnut is fixed to the bowl. Use a soft cloth with a drop of mild soap, avoid scouring pads, and oil the handle with a food-safe wood oil from time to time.
Is the ceramic dish included?
Only with the set options. Half the choices add a small mango-shaped dish for tipping out and checking a dose. Silver scoops pair with an off-white dish, while the other two finishes get a matching color. The dish is also sold by itself as our ceramic mango dosing tray.
Is the whole scoop made of wood?
No. Only the handle is walnut; the bowl is aluminum alloy. If you want a spoon made of walnut wood, see the MUVNA fish-tail walnut spoon.
Hang it by the grinder
