MHW-3BOMBER Supersonic S7 manual espresso makerLever press, pressure gauge, no outlet required.
This portable lever espresso maker travels with you and pairs with any manual coffee grinder you already own. The S7 uses a hand lever press to build pressure through the coffee puck, with a gauge that shows you when you hit the espresso zone. No power cord, no pump noise, just your hand on the lever and hot water in the chamber. The basic version includes the maker and a carrying case.
- Pressure gauge for extraction control
- No power required, fully manual
- Portable with carrying case
- Standard portafilter basket

Why pull the lever yourself
Electric espresso machines
- Need an outlet and counter space
- Weigh too much to pack
- Loud pump every time you pull a shot
This maker
- Lever press builds pressure by hand
- Fits in the case, no cord to coil
- Quiet operation, gauge shows pressure in real time
- Pull a shot at the campsite or the hotel desk
How it works
Portafilter and basket
Dose your ground coffee into the basket, tamp it, and attach the portafilter to the group head just as you would with a countertop machine.
Hot water chamber
Pour hot water into the chamber above the coffee puck. The lever forces that water through the grounds under pressure.
Pressure gauge and lever
Press the lever down and watch the gauge climb. When it enters the espresso range, hold that pressure until the shot finishes.
Four moves from grind to cup
-
Grind and dose
Grind your coffee fine for espresso. Dose into the portafilter basket, tamp evenly, and lock it into the group head.
-
Add hot water
Heat water to espresso temperature and pour it into the chamber. The amount depends on your shot size.
-
Press the lever
Push the lever down slowly and watch the pressure gauge. When you reach espresso pressure, hold it steady.
-
Release and clean
Once the shot finishes, release the lever, unlock the portafilter, knock out the puck, and rinse the basket.
Watch how it works
- Installing the lever and drip tray
- Preheating the brewing head and tank
- Preparing and extracting the espresso
- Cleaning the machine after use

You still need a grinder
This espresso maker does not grind coffee. Use a manual grinder or an electric portable grinder set to espresso fineness before you brew.
Honest fit for three situations
What you get

Answered clearly
Does this espresso maker grind coffee?
No. This is a manual espresso maker, not a grinder. You need to grind your coffee separately before you brew. A manual coffee grinder like the Comandante C40 or the IKAPE manual grinder works well for travel setups.
How do you heat the water?
You heat water separately in a kettle or pot, then pour it into the chamber. The maker does not heat water.
Is it hard to build enough pressure by hand?
The lever gives you mechanical advantage, so most people can reach espresso pressure without much effort. The gauge shows you when you are in the right range. If you have wrist or hand limitations, test the lever travel before you commit.
Can I use pre-ground espresso?
You can, but fresh ground coffee tastes better and gives you more control over extraction. Pre-ground loses aroma fast, especially when you are traveling.
