Lattes, espresso and drip from one small bodyIt grinds, weighs and froths, so your only job is picking the drink.
The Ninja Luxe Café Mini Plus is a compact Ninja espresso machine that also brews drip coffee, with a 60-setting conical burr grinder, a built-in scale and a hands-free AutoFroth wand in one stainless steel body. Barista Assist suggests the grind, weighs the dose and adjusts temperature and pressure during each shot. It suits anyone who wants café milk drinks at home without a separate grinder or hand steaming.
- Conical burr grinder, 60 settings
- Scale weighs every dose
- AutoFroth stops on its own
- Espresso, drip and hot water
Three figures worth knowing
You choose the beans, it handles the dialing in
Home espresso usually goes wrong at the grinder, and that is the step Barista Assist takes off your plate. Choose a drink and the machine recommends a grind setting. The built-in scale cuts the grinder off at the target weight, so shot after shot starts from the same dose.
During the shot it watches temperature and pressure and corrects them as it goes. If your grind landed a notch off, it tells you which way to move the dial next time.
The same grinder serves the drip side
Weighed grounds keep the coffee to water ratio steady, from one mug to a small carafe.
What it takes care of for you
Fresh grounds by weight
Whole beans wait in the sealed hopper on top. Grounds drop straight into the portafilter and stop at the set weight.
Milk with your hands free
Set the pitcher under the wand and pick steamed, thin or thick. It heats the milk and shuts off, with dairy, oat, almond or soy.
Drip without a second appliance
Brew classic, rich or over-ice coffee, or run hot water for tea and americanos.
The only difference is the steam wand
Café Mini, manual wand
- You hold the pitcher and texture the milk yourself
- Same grinder, scale, brewing options and footprint
Mini Plus, AutoFroth wand
- Three presets cover steamed, thin and thick foam
- It reaches temperature and stops by itself
If steaming by hand is part of the fun for you, the Café Mini is the better pick.
From whole beans to a finished cup
-
Fill and pick
Add whole beans to the hopper, shut the lid and pick your drink.
-
Grind and tamp
Fit the dosing funnel on the portafilter, let the scale stop the grind, then tamp.
-
Pull and froth
Start the shot, then set the milk pitcher under the wand and choose a preset.
Watch how it works
- Identifying included accessories and parts
- Testing and setting water hardness
- Flushing the system before use
- Calibrating the espresso grind size
Clean the wand while it is still warm
Milk sticks to a hot steam tip quickly, so purge and wipe the wand right after use, clear the drip tray each day, and descale as prompted.

Is it the right machine for you
A strong match if you
- Want lattes at home without learning milk technique
- Have space for a small machine, not a wide one
- Drink both drip and espresso
Look at another machine if you
- Want full manual control. The Flair 58 Plus 2 lever machine hands it all to you.
- Brew mostly from pods. This one runs on whole beans.
Straight answers
Is this Ninja espresso machine good for beginners?
Yes. Barista Assist recommends the grind, weighs the dose and adjusts temperature and pressure mid-shot, and AutoFroth steams milk without you holding the pitcher.
Does it froth oat and almond milk?
Yes. Barista oat milk gets nearest to dairy foam. Almond milk comes out lighter, so choose the thick preset for it.
Can I use pre-ground coffee or pods?
Pre-ground coffee works if you spoon it into the basket by hand. Pods do not fit.
Is it an espresso machine with grinder built in?
Yes. The conical burr grinder has 60 settings, so no second grinder is needed. For another all-in-one style, see the SMEG espresso machine with grinder.
How much countertop room is required?
About 10.2 x 12.2 x 13.4 in, at 19.4 lb. Leave clearance above for the hopper lid to open.
