The numbers that matter
Grind, brew, steam
15 settings, dosed into the portafilter
Beans sit in the hopper on top and the grinder doses straight into the portafilter. Fifteen steps cover the espresso range: start around the middle, go finer if the shot runs fast, coarser if it chokes. Grinding to order is what separates this from a pod machine.
Brew and steam at the same time
Two heating elements, one for brew water and one for steam. Pull a shot and steam milk back to back without the pause a single-heater machine needs to switch temperatures. That is the difference between one latte and four in a row.
Steam wand and cup warmer
The wand steams a pitcher for cappuccinos, lattes and flat whites. The top plate warms cups so the shot does not drop temperature the moment it lands. Purge the wand before and after every use and wipe the tip hot.

The numbers
A fair read
This one is for you if
- You want the retro look and a real grinder in the same box.
- You make milk drinks for more than one person and do not want to wait between shot and steam.
- You want a pressure gauge to learn from, not just a button.
Look elsewhere if
- You want the all-in-one at the lowest price. The Care for Cafes machine does grinder plus espresso for less.
- You want a full commercial dual boiler. This is a home machine with dual heating.
Answered plainly
What does the pressure gauge tell me?
Where the shot is running. A needle that sits low means the grind is too coarse or the dose too light; a needle that climbs high and the shot barely drips means too fine. Aim for the middle of the range with a double landing in 25 to 30 seconds.
Dual heating or dual boiler?
Dual heating: two heating elements so brew and steam are both ready, which is what a home machine needs for back-to-back lattes. A dual boiler is the larger commercial-style design with two full tanks. This is the former.
Can I use pre-ground coffee?
Yes. Fill the basket by hand and skip the grinder. The grinder is there because fresh grinding tastes better, not because the machine requires it.
How do I look after it?
Purge the wand after every milk drink and wipe it hot, rinse the portafilter after every shot, empty the drip tray daily, run a water-only backflush weekly if your baskets allow it, and descale to your water hardness. Wipe the grinder chute weekly.
