Eureka Disko Electric Coffee Tamper, Constant Force
Guaranteed Safe Checkout
An electric coffee tamper that never tiresRest the portafilter, start the press, and get the same puck shot after shot.
Eureka Disko is an electric coffee tamper, a motorised press that compacts the grounds in a 58 mm (2.28 in) basket with a constant force you set between 10 and 30 kg. It sits on a height-adjustable stand with a portafilter holder and runs from simple buttons, in black or white. It's built for home espresso brewers who want that one variable removed.
- Electric, button-controlled pressing
- Press force set from 10 to 30 kg
- Fits 58 mm (2.28 in) baskets
- Height-adjustable portafilter holder

Where a hand tamp lets you down
Tamping by hand
- Pressure follows how your arm feels that day
- A slight tilt packs one edge tighter
- An uneven puck is hard to trace to its cause
Pressing with the Eureka
- The force you chose lands on each puck
- The holder lines the basket up under the head
- Your hands stay free to warm a cup or steam milk
With the tamp fixed, grind size becomes the one dial you turn when a new bag arrives.
Three figures that decide the fit
It presses, it does not grind
This listing was once mislabeled as a grinder, which isn't accurate. The press compacts grounds already loaded in a portafilter; a burr grinder is still required beforehand, for instance the IKAPE portable electric grinder.
It does not spread the coffee either. Level the bed by hand or with a dual-head leveler and tamper before it goes under the head.
From dose to locked-in puck
-
Dose and level
Fill the basket as you normally would, then flatten the grounds so the press meets an even layer.
-
Seat the handle
Set the portafilter into the holder and raise or lower the stand until the basket sits right under the tamper head.
-
Pick a mode and press
Choose a single press or a double press that tamps twice in a row, then start it with the buttons. Lift the portafilter out and lock it into your espresso machine.
Measure your basket first
The head is 58 mm (2.28 in) across and made for 58 mm baskets. Measure the inside of your basket before you order. If your machine takes a different size, this head will not seat inside it.
Who should buy it
Buy it if you
- Pull espresso every day and want a repeatable tamp
- Run a home bar around a 58 mm (2.28 in) machine like the LELIT Mara X
- Shop for a coffee lover who already owns a grinder
Look elsewhere if you
- Need beans ground, since this only presses
- Use a basket that is not 58 mm (2.28 in)
- Brew espresso now and then and like your hand tamper
The details
Before it joins your bar
What does an electric coffee tamper do?
It compresses the ground coffee in your portafilter for you. This one applies constant force each time, so the puck you lock in matches the last one without you leaning on a handle.
Which portafilter sizes does it fit?
It fits 58 mm (2.28 in) baskets, and the tamper head is 58 mm across. Measure the inside of your basket before ordering to be sure.
How hard does it press?
You set the force anywhere from 10 to 30 kg with the buttons, and it holds that force on every puck.
Can this tamper grind coffee beans?
No. It covers the tamping step only, after you grind and dose.
Should I level the grounds before pressing?
Yes. A flat, even bed lets the constant force reach the whole puck rather than one side.
